Oh to be a fly on the wall....

Oft said - and here is why - a fly on the wall...
First one is the original view through the camera, with the lens as close as I could reach at first - and then the fly moved a little bit nearer, and I started to move my tripod into various (awkward) positions to try and vary the angles a bit more to create some variety - all the while getting a bit nearer.
Note, some rotation and crop involved as well as a two extension tubes to finish with...
All round about f/11, @ ISO 160, 200th sec

How long did you have to wait for a fly which matched the background?
Harold
I didn't - a quick step out into the night air and I saw it on the wall. Then it was a case of dash back in for the gear!
