Third game this week and Fifth on the season. C&C Welcome. I seem to be getting a little better shots with all of your advice. This game I used a 1.4 Teleconverter for better reach and changed the autofocus to D9.

#2 - with the ball in mid-air and the players eyes locked on it - outstanding clap.gifthumb

These are great. If I came away with shots of my children like these two of your sons after an entire season of shooting I'd be very happy. You should photoshop their names on them and the school logo and the year and make posters. You might try a vertical 4:5 crop of your older son, but imo only if it still includes enough of the opposing player in the bg. If it doesn't then I'd try a horizontal 5:4 crop. I wouldn't worry about cutting off all or part of Beckman #10.

An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.

These are terrific - they pop nicely, good action/timing.
    Really like the set
My opinion does not necessarily make it true. What you do with my opinion is entirely up to you.

Great idea. I may play around with that. Thank you.
