Spider lovers.... - a Tegenaria Gigantea for you...

Lovely docile female - whenever she moved into the wrong position, I just guided her back to somewhere better. She climbed on my hands a half a dozen times and was very gentle with me!

I have re-homed her in my outhouse, at the opposite end to the big one that is living at the darkest farthest corner...

Venus lens, Yongnuo diffused flash, and the fangs were with a 12mm tube, 21mm tube, & 1.4x teleconverter...

Very nice images, although I'm starting to worry about your level of emotional involvement! rolleyes1.gif

I can appreciate your superb technical and artistic prowess with the camera and macro lens. The last shot is exceptional, albeit a little disturbing.

But Paul, since you refer to her in such intimate terms, does she really deserve to be put in an outhouse? Although, I am sure that the term "outhouse" means something different in the UK than it does in the US. :D

Outhouse in my terms is the garden shed - though rather than wood, it is built with bricks. Nice and warm in winter for spiders. The darkest corner is home to one very very large member of the spider family. Now, this nearest corner to the door should become this lady's new haunt... :)

    Thanks for looking Jo.
