Hi there folks, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to FADE ?
In one of the steps of the doing this process it says remember to FADE after using Poster Edge........but danged if I can find where you do it ?
I am using PhotoShop Elements 3 is it just not there or am I blind ?? :dunno
The other thing I'd really like is that Bubbled Leather Texture where can I get that from??? I have hardly any textures, at all.
Hope someone can help me out cause I know you people... your good :clap Skippy (Australia) :thumb

Here's the orginal tutorial, if you do it on the right shots it's really neat.

Fade is the fourth item down in the edit menu. At least it is on PC CS2.
I don't have Photoshop.......only Elements and I thought there was a work around for the Fade thing it's been some time since I used Hayes-Island but I am sure someone.....could have been Shay even that had the work around for FADE I cannot see anything anywhere in Photoshop Elements 3 that refers to FADE ??? If memory serves me, Elements does not have the Fade command. It's only in full Photoshop. Depending upon how it's being used there may be another way to achieve the result in Elements. If you can include the step before the Fade and the Fade instructions, we can perhaps suggest a different way to accomplish the same thing in Elements.
For example, Merge to a new layer, sharpen, then fade to luminosity can be simulated in Elements by doing Merge to a new layer, set layer blend mode to luminosity, then sharpen.

Any operation, or set of operations can be "faded" in that way, actually: color moves, blurs, noise addition. Merge to new layer and set opacity to taste.
