    Hi, ART SCOTT
I love the big smile in the first photo.
I would like the first photo better if, all of her right arm was in the photo & centered better. You might want to do a photo with her arms crossed
in front of her. Her dark skin and the white shirt make it hard
for the colors. The white is almost warshedout.

I would like the second photo more if, you where closer or used zoom.

I like the smile in this photo also.
I would like the third photo more if, it was centered better.

Did you have more photos from this photo shoot?
If, this is a paid photo shoot I would ask her what she thinks of the photos.
She might like them the way they are.
You can always do another shoot and compare photos.

    Take Care,
    Chuck

Thanks Chuck, I appreciate the comments...only way to learn.
Are your photos viewable without joining Y-groups????

As you can tell I'm slightly unconventional....framing was intentional...all butthe closed eyes in the 2nd photo....her Mom and Dad have not poisoned me yet (they own an Asian Resturant) and both said they like them....She ahd pics done by someone that charged $400 for the shoot and about 30 or so pics, all were dead centered and text book perfect.....she and parents were unimpressed.....so I took a different approach.....shot the pics made a flipalbum to be viewed on computer and told them if they liked them they could pay me what they decided my work was worth.....Got paid real well.

Still have plenty to learn about PS also.

No, at this time that is all I have available.
I have been trying to decide on joining smugmug or building my own
online portfolio web site. Wow, $400 bucks for a photo shoot and only 30
prints. I only charge $30 for a one hour photo shoot. The customer can
decide on what photos to print, what size they want & change poses
& outfits as much as they want.
    8X10$15,
    4X6$.50,
    11X14$18

I'll bet that she and her parents love the photos because they really reflect her personality. The technical aspects of portraits are important, of course, and something you will no doubt get better at with time. But being able to capture the personality of your model in a way that she and her family recognize, appreciate and, best of all, pay for thumb.gif is an art. Congratulations. clap.gifclap.gifclap.gif
