I really like this shot for the subject and the processing.
I was going to suggest that moving to the right just a bit to get the whole bench in and removing the post at the left - but on second thought, that would have been boring and too symmetrical.
Thanks for commenting, Wayne and Jo. The bench was centered (and whole) in the original shot, but I did some radical cropping to make it less centered. Eliminating the post would have cut off the guy on the left's toe, so I just left it in.
Personally, I don't find the post anything like as distracting as the the bipod / antenna that's just decided to remove itself from the middle guy's head.
have you tried / considered a crop that removes this?
