CSS table, sortable

Hello again,

I want to make a table, excel-style, 3-4 columns, description, date, link, type, for my galleries.

I found out i can make that in EXCEL, save it in CSV, and then use a site like www.tablegenerator.com or www.csstablegenerator.com, and convert that to CSS code and put it in a custom page.

Question 1)
will that work?

Question 2)
is anyway this will be sortable? Click on column title and be sorted A-Z, 1-9?

Yes you can create a table using CSS, but to my knowledge, you can't have it sortable as a user/viewer.

Because i am totally inexperienced, i wanted to ask will that work?
And then i will gladly devote some hours or days to implement that in my site. I dont want any further guidance (hopefully)

But i dont want to spend my efforts, if someone can tell me beforehand that i will reach a dead end.

That method uses JavaScript. New SmugMug does not include JavaScript support so you can't use that method.
