New Year's day is done

We had a spectacular sunset tonight, likely due to the wood and pellet burning stove particulate matter in the atmosphere:

    Wow, that was a fantastic sunset! I'll bet the experience was downright awesome.

    Very good photo, not overly processed, or overly saturated, that bothers me when the saturation is too much. YOurs is spot on!

    Thank you ginger. :):

    I admit that I adjusted the look with curves and a small amount of hue and saturation touch up. :uhoh And, dang it, the file size was set to "S" as I grabbed my camera and set it up on my tripod so quickly, that I forgot to set the image recording to RAW. :cry

    Now we're hoping for some strong Winter wind to blow all that smoke away and improve our air quality. It creates cool sunsets though...
