Folder Alias in API 2.0?

Is there any way to declare an alternate UrlName for a folder in API 2.0?

It would be useful for supporting URL migrations after links are published elsewhere.

    There's no support built into SmugMug (API or otherwise) for having alternate names for folders. There isn't really a programmatic solution for that scenario. If you're worried about sharing/posting links publicly and then changing the URL, I could give you some tips on organizing and customizing your SmugMug site, but that's outside of the API.
