Drop Shadow Issue

I'm trying to create a drop shadow around my front page slide show. I have tried following some directions I found on Dgrin but have managed to screw it up. Can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong?

First off, you added your CSS to your HTML section and not the CSS section. That said, the code you found doesn't work anyway. Add this to your Theme's CSS:

.sm-slideshow-image .sm-tile-single.sm-tiles-uncropped .sm-image {
    border:1px solid #000; 
    box-shadow:3px 4px 10px #333; 
    -webkit-box-shadow: 3px 5px 5px rgba(0, 0, 0, .5); 
    -moz-box-shadow: 3px 5px 5px rgba(0, 0, 0, .5); 
    box-sizing: border-box;
    -moz-box-sizing: border-box;
    }

.sm-page-widget-slideshow .sm-tile-single.sm-tiles-uncropped .sm-image {
    max-width: 90%;
    margin: 15px auto;  
    overflow: visible;
    }
