Reproducing my old site into smugmug

Hello everybody,
I´m in the process of reproducing my old site into smugmug, so far I´m in the “home” page and trying to figure out the general layout for the whole site.
The links to the old site: enriqueparra.photography
The new smugmug site: enriqueparra.net
I have the following questions:
1- In the Logo text container h1, where “ENRIQUE PARRA photography” appears:
Is it possible to have two different colors and font sizes as in the original site?
“ENRIQUE PARRA” in red color
“photography” in black color and smaller font size.
If not, can I insert another container into the Logo? how to do this?
Any other suggestion?
2- In Carousel: Is it possible to hide the slide bar under it?
Thanks in advance, I hope someone has a clue as I´m in a learning process….. :wink

For your first question - I must admit I might not be the right person to ask... but from what I can see it is most likely not possible to change this unless you find a way to include a HTML showing your text "photography" in black and manage to place that exactly above the now red text. But maybe one of the wiser webpage developers comes by and finds a solution for you
For your second question though I am not 100% certain that I do understand it correctly:
Do you want to hide your slide-bar so that it becomes completely invisible? If so you can use the following CSS on your homepage (just add a CSS container on "just this side"-level when you are on your homepage and add the code below)
If you want to just move it upwards to be shown behind your photo - I must admit I haven't figured out how to move it. What I can see though is that my slide bar looks different and is positioned different in Safari and Firefox / Chrome. While in Safari I have it below the carousel, in Firefox and Chrome it is a second layer on the carousel being only visible if you move the mouse over it.
Hope I could help at least a little bit.
Good luck

Thanks Lille,
I just tried the CSS code and it´s perfect. Regarding the first question, I believe you are wirght.
Thanks for your help,
Hey Heroes, any idea on how to sort the first question?
You might try one of these options:
- using an image for your logo instead of text
- using an HTML block instead of a logo block, specifying the colors of the pieces of text via CSS and HTML
- using two logo blocks in your header (although I'm not sure it would be possible to line the blocks up with the text in the proper place

Regarding the second option: How do I "erase" the original Logo block?, I don´t see any "erase command" next to it, or is it enough to leave it in blank.
Regarding the third option: How do I insert a second logo block in the header.
Sorry for my ignorance.
To add a second logo block in your header, Customize... Content and design... Entire site... drag in an additional logo block. You will find the Logo block under Design in the list of elements.
