The lifted shadows emphasize the whiter shirt and face and are tonally different from the foreground
such that I don't have any problem with it now.

As you do, Cristóbal, I find this shot appealing. It's a bit of a strange scene and the partial obscurity of the subject enhances its allure. Job well done, my friend.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.
Thanks Tom and Richard. As I said there's something about this shot that appeals to me, I like the complete concentration even in a busy surrounding. I think that the face on the back of the mirror gives this shot a retro feel as well.

I like this shot and the foreground adds to the composition. An increase in exposure does not improve anything IMHO.
