Wanna see my Western Meadowlark?

I shot this one yesterday with my Canon 20D+400 f/5.6L Lens+a 1.4xTC.
This was walking pretty fast, so I had to shot a burst off.:):

    i checked out your bird galleries
    wow - guess you know your birds - those are wonderful. i'm not very familiar with birding. it's something i've always wanted to do, but i probably need a different camera and definitely lots of zooom!

    cool bird. Nice and crisp and good colors up front and looks like he's hauling a.. in the back rolleyes1.gif

    So, I thought I'd check out your web site - neat piccies, but I got a bone to pick... Leave it to the "frog lady" to catch you on putting turtles in a gallery labeled "amphibians". Last I checked, turtles are reptiles eek7.gif But ya got some neat stuff up there.

    Nice job.
    Very nice shot. I bought the same lens a couple of weeks ago and am still trying to get that kind of sharpness.
