Took a family break up to Ballachulish, just outside Glencoe in Scotland. Scenery is absolutely amazing, and much better than my basic photography skills can ever do justice.

3 sisters in Glencoe, well one of them can be seen on the left , this is my favourite shot of the trip.

Trying to get creative with long exposure. Had to use my variable ND filter.

That is some special light and scenery!
I recommend everyone to click on the shots to see the larger versions!
Not sure what your gear is but sensor needs cleaning.....the large dust specs are sticking out and ruining the pleasure of enjoying these.

yeah the spots are from my filters, there were a couple spots of rain on them. I hope to go back and clean up the pics.

I agree that the larger versions are a must see - really brings out the lighting. #3 is my favourite - dusting of fresh snow on Ben Etive is beautiful.

Spot of rain in Scotland - now that's a first :D

    Cheers, Richard.

Nice shots! Somewhere I've spent a fair bit of time in the past. Given that no one has said so far... Skyfall in Glen Etive! Think some of the 39 steps was filmed there too!

They do look a tad dark to me though, especially in the shadows. I'd consider taking a look at the Levels in Photoshop and see if you can make the histogram a bit more balanced! I think it would help to see more detail in the shadows!

Either that or it's just because I'm on my phone, if it looks OK to everyone else then ignore me! [emoji6]
