Folder/Page/Gallery Hierarchy & Customization

I am a novice at best when it comes to working with the smug mug interface. I have redesigned my basic website, but now I am expanding, I have a hell of a time with it.

I will try to explain how I want to site work the best that I can.

Folder A (Division A of photography)
All galleries, pages, and subfolders will have the same look across the board. This i an independent design exclusive to Folder A, including titles and menus. Galleries will have an independent look as well. No access to Division B or C from these pages or folders.

Folder B (Division B of photography)
All galleries, pages, and subfolders will have the same look across the board. This i an independent design exclusive to Folder B, including titles and menus. Galleries will have an independent look as well. No access to Division A or C from these pages or folders.

Folder C (Division C of photography)
All galleries, pages, and subfolders will have the same look across the board. This i an independent design exclusive to Folder C, including titles and menus. Galleries will have an independent look as well. No access to Division A or C from these pages or folders.

I can achieve this but by editing every freaking page and making them unique. I would much rather customize each folder and have all the pages under that folder follow the parents formatting. However, this does not happen because of the wide "All folders", "All Galleries" & "All pages" settings.

Every time I add a page, folder or gallery, i have to reformat the page because it does not format to the parent folder it is in.

Is there any solutions to this other than what I am doing?

    Hi Kpbarker.

I think the "button" <+make this a custom folder> below would be your rescue :)
Use that on Folder A / B / C with distinctive settings for each one of them and you could have sorted all your troubles in one go.

    Good luck

When I do this, it edit just that folder. All items under that folder do not inherit the parents edits. This does not solve the problem I am having.
