I think it is a respectable shot, sharp, nice control of depth of field. Perhaps you could try different angles and compositions playing with the geometry of the fan.

I would position the centre of the fan slightly closer to the centre of the frame. My eye is drawn slightly too close to the edge of the picture rather than into the picture.

i tried another couple of these, this was the better of them. The lighting was very different and i couldn't get the same effect with the blades that i wanted.
