Strolling Sunset

Going ever deeper with alternative photo processing and my new artistic style... This image was shot using an ND8 & CP on my 25/2.8 lens.... f18 at .06 sec.... while shutter was opened, I swept the sky at sunset at the beach... Post was done in Perfect Photo Suite 9 + LR.

I know this won't suit the taste of many as it doesn't particularly look very photographic... but :dunno

Haven't been posting much as I have been completing my 16 pieces of Encaustic Photography for my featured art show at the local gallery that starts next week.

I *love* this result-- the tones, abstraction, "varnish" coating (or whatever!). It totally works for me. Beautiful. --Carter

Thank you Carter, so far, there is nothing on it... this is just the digital post processing. Later, I will print a paper piece and do my encaustic wax application to further enhance the texture.

    I appreciate your comment.

Gorgeous! Who cares if it is not too photographic, nice composition and colors.

I like the "let's break the rules" approach. I think it turned out beautifully. It looks like something I would see in an upscale office or hotel lobby (which is meant to be a complement BTW).
