Popup Modal

Is there a way to add a popup modal or a call to action on the home screen? I was told that SmugMug does not support javascript.

We don't support javascript, so adding a popup will be an issue, unless you can find a way to add it without javascript.

Thank you for your reply. If it is worth it to others I did find a way to do this with pure CSS3 and HTML no JavaScript / Jquery. http://www.syakirurohman.net/en/2015/01/create-popup-without-javascript-jquery.html
This is a pretty easy tutorial (medium) I give it a thumbs up.

It literally takes less than 5 mins copy and paste change the image urls and your done.

I need an auto pop-up too in order to display some cookies' info due to european law.
I tried to follow the info in this link (just by copying and pasting the code) but the pop-up animation doesn't work
It just display static text on my homepage
Does someone help me?
