Goldcrest (Regulus regulus)

These are beautiful finches resident in the UK. They take their name from the gold edged wing feathers. This was a series of test shots with the new Nikon D7200 and the Tamron 150 - 600 at a focal length of 550 - 600 mm to check for sharpness at the longer end. Camera was set at f8 and ISO of 200.
