Let's play the theme "Interiors"
I'm nature boy from the Australian Outback but lately I've become interested in photographing large indoor spaces for something completely different. The theme that I've chosen for you this month is Enclosed Spaces. I'm looking for indoor photos in the broadest sense so show us what you've got.
Your photos of the great indoors could be a house but the theme can stretch as far as your imagination goes to include any space that is enclosed, whether by walls or something else. It might be inside a large railway station, a cave or interior photos of a barn, a boat or plane - even inside a tube wave. What I'm looking for is a photograph that captures the space itself rather than focusing on objects in that space. Let's see what you can come up with.
The Challenge will run until the end of 31st May and as soon as I can after that I'll declare the winners.
* Also, please read the rules (below) of playing before entering:
** I will post the winners here with links to their own photography pages
Here are some of my examples to get you started:
The first is the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle de Paris and you should be able to work out what that means even if you speak no French. So much going on in this picture, so many places for your eyes to wander. This is a composite picture made from a bracket of 5 images. One day I'll take the time to de-ghost it properly.
Second is a photo from one of my favourite places in Paris. St Denis cathedral was rebuilt in 1144 and is considered to be the world's first Gothic church. It has been a place of pilgrimage for centuries and is the burial place of the French kings, with nearly every king from the 10th to the 18th centuries buried there. St Denis is light and airy and has enough fascinating details to keep you snapping for hours. It makes the much more visited Notre Dame look like a crowded dark cave.
Third is a picture of the centre of a friend's house that has a great woody feel that goes with the mountain views they enjoy.
And since I'm not competing I'm going to throw in a 4th. This is the cafe inside London's Victoria & Albert Museum (which is a great place to take your camera).

I'm leaving it open to everyone's imagination and hoping for some variety and interesting submissions.
- What a great idea for a subject! I've been in Paris many, many years ago when I was not thinking about photography (well not like today) unfortunately.
But I visited many other wonderful places where I had the camera with me.
