"Hide Owner" style links

Is there a method to create a link to a gallery that hides the owner without actually setting "Hide Owner" on the gallery. :dunno

I would like to share anonymous links to my galleries without the inconvenience of not being able to jump around the folder hierarchy myself.

Looks like even if you use a generic link Smug redirects to your gallery link.
    www.smugmug.com/gallery/XXXXXXX_xxxxxxxx
    or Hide Owner Link

I encourage anyone tired of using work arounds and interested in having a cleaner way to obtain a non-identifying url to vote for this request:

If clicking the link above does not work for you, paste this link in your browser:

Looks like the forum software wont show the full url when I use any text beginning with "http". Clicking the link works for me. I added the full url as plain text without the "http".

To show the full link I bold the two dots. In red below.

I added a comment to the feedback post, then waited for the moderator to approve. Now that
message disappeared and my comment is gone!

    That's a little curious.

Yep - the feedback forums is on a moderated queue since it gets a bajillion spam messages a day and it's the only way to enable the spam filtering. One of the Product Managers is always monitoring the queue and we almost always get to them within a few hours.
