This was the photo and the light I described as never seen except when I took this shot:
THE ANSWER: THE STRANGE LIGHT IS IN REALITY A FOLD IN THE NEGATIVE. I DID NOT KNOW IT WAS THERE UNTIL I SAW THE PHOTO AND LOOKED. I LIKED IT SO I KEPT IT.

That's what I thought when I first saw it - but no, just a fold in the negative. Still, looks neat.
