Redirection of a link

Hi.
I would like to slightly change the setup of my page when it comes to the organization of my folders and galleries that contain my public photos.
As of now you would find the following structure in my organizer:
www.lilleulven.com
This of course looks kind of messy once you go into the Organizer on my site...
What I would like to do is to have one folder named Photos that would contain all public folders that then contain the public galleries.
So the structure should afterwards look like this:
www.lilleulven.com
But that would also change my links from say www.lilleulven.com/Travel/NewZealand/Southisland/photo.jpg
to www.lilleulven.com/Photos/Travel/NewZealand/Southisland/photo.jpg.
What I need to know before I start doing this is: if I have used the "get a link" tool to link to one of my photos in a forum or from a blog, would the old links get re-directed to the new ones?
(From what I can see from my links at another forum it looks like it. But I would like to know for sure before implementing this change, so that I can plan for where else I have to change links before starting the work.)
Thanks for your help in advance.

Yes, changing the organization structure by moving galleries and folders around would indeed break any links you've previously shared using the old organizational structure. It would not redirect automatically so you would have to update those links to make sure they don't break after reorganizing.
If you have more questions about that though, just let us know!

As long as the gallery ID and key are at the end this works. Added a bogus xxxx

This OldSmug photo link for that photo still works even with the bogus xxxxx

So organization structure means nothing as long as the ID and key are in the link.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but how or what site did you use to build your blog? If external site, did you need to manually retreat all the menu entries on top of he blog to emulate the Smugmug menus?

I've also used blogger (link to blog and smug site are below), and the menu items on my blog do point to my smug site. I needed to create those entries in blogger as well as in smug.

I do use an external blog service - more precisely google's blogger. And yes I did emulate the smug mug menu by getting all those links manually and then used HTML to code the menu.
If you need any more help, just let me know
And now I better run over to my blog and double-check the menu
