Green-Eyed Monster Marchantia polymorpha

These were shot with my Schneider HM 40mm facing forwards, at 1:1 (FOV 17mm ) probably all at f16, or, the lower magnification images, with my Kiron EM-1 at f11. All were with twin flash and hand-held with some support from the substrate. Most images have not been cropped.

The cups contain gemmae. The 'trees' are female gametophores, shot with the Kiron.

    I like the last one.....I would have gotten rid of the black spot in right corner!

    So would I, if I had the software which could do it.

    I understand I may soon have my replacement PC and will be able to use Photoshop again.
