Kool April Nites - Redding, Ca annual car show

We took our 37 Plymouth to the show the weekend of April 24/25/26, even though there was a threat of rain. It rained Friday night late, so didn't effect the cruise, car show or the fact that neither of our cars have windshield wipers. :wink
I didn't get the shots that I wanted due to a bum back, but enjoyed the show anyway. Here are some of the shots and beautiful cars that I did catch.
Friday Night Cruise through Redding:
The requisite red T-bird -
There were about 2000 cars registered making a very busy cruise night. In this shot, the black smoke is from the Rat Rod behind the red Chevy........done on purpose.
The crowds watching the cruise were at some points 4 and 5 rows deep - a great turnout and lots of fun people. This is very poor shot taken through the windshield, but you get the idea.
Saw mostly cell phones snapping, but there were some serious photogs there as well.
There were some pretty paint jobs
And some not-so-much:
Camaraderie in the streets - people watching was almost as much fun as car watching.
And Photo-bombing was in vogue:
Some drove their own route during the cruise:
And there were some real beauties in the main auditorium - special customs.
A SteamPunk special:
A 37 Roadster special:
Some of the registered cars during Saturday's Show & Shine:
And lastly, our two cars - 37 Plymouth 4 door (hubby's Gansta Car) and a 41 Chevy Coupe (my pretty 'Daisy').

Thanks CCoop - I have more fun with panning than I do normal shots. I'm really not that good at panning, but every now and then one turns out!
