Sme months ago I posted some images of grasshoppers from Corsica. Today’s selection were photographed several days earlier. They were mostly living amongst some dry detritus from vegetation, making an unobstructed shot tricky. I didn’t quite get the full length of the long, grey one in the focus plane but the two images have all the details between them.
They were all shot with my Kiron 105mm macro, at ISO 400, at 1/125, 1/125, 1/80, 1/80, 1/320 1/400 and 1/250, in sunlight or shade, hand-held.
All images have been cropped for composition.
The last three images comprise two shots of one grey species (hind leg missing?) and one of another.

Thanks, Brian.
I thought I had reworked those two images and saved the new versions over them. I have reworked them again.

Thanks, Brian.
Some of those continental species are really thickly armoured, or at least give the appearance of being so, quite unlike our native species.
