Obfuscate url and hide description at folder level

I am a film location scout and for protection of photo assets, for my "locations" folder (below my top folder, but many subfolders would inherit whatever changes....) I ideally would like to obvuscate the url and hide description info from anyone but me when I am logged in as admin.

For admin side, keywording / search urls are descriptive and info is placed in the small description area on the gallery page.

A SM Hero hid the descriptions for me using css and it is possible to "hide owner" on a gallery level basis but if you hide owner the description reappears.

All I want someone who is not logged in as admin to see is pictures.

I do not need SEO optimization but I do need searchability from the backend.

I have done some archive searching for this but still coming up short.

Thanks for any insight / help.

The Hide Owner function does does three things: 1) it hides the navigational "breadcrumb" at the top of your gallery, 2) it changes the URL to use a generic www.smugmug.com URL, instead of your site nickname, and 3) it uses a generic SmugMug appearance in the gallery, ignoring any customization you've added. So, the Hide Owner setting will function to give a gallery a generic URL, but with that option, it also prevents you from applying any other customization to the gallery. It would require the use of CSS to do things like hide something for just the visitors (while displaying it for the logged in owner).

Since it's not possible to use CSS in a hide owner gallery, you'd have to either choose to use Hide Owner (generic URL, but the gallery descriptions will appear, if added), or a normal gallery URL (would use your domain/nickname in the URL, but you would be able to use CSS to hide something like a gallery description).
