New to the forum but thought I would dive right in as very frustrated now.

Photos has kindly taken over from iPhoto since my last software update.

I used to be able to create Events in iPhoto and then edit and control photos within. Once complete a simple drag and drop to smugmug would complete the process. Even had multiple windows open on the browsers and worked between windows worked very well when having to upload a day's worth of locations.

Photos allows me to create an Album and drag the photos to this for correction/delete etc. It will not allow me to drag anything out to Smugmug. I have tried whole Albums. I even gone down to a single image in the Photos view and this will not work either.

However, drag a photo to the desktop, pause and then to Smugmug works fine.

I have checked the following:

1. Images are all taken on (S) on the Nikon so are never over 1.1Mb.
2. All images are labelled jpg.
3. There are no settings in Preferences that I can see that are preventing this move.
4. I have tried this on both Firefox and Safari browsers to no avail.

Any suggestions please?

As a note (I am finding Photos very clunky to work with and not as good as iPhoto)

I have to admit that we are seeing the same thing when using the new Photos app. You can not drag and drop straight from Photos into SmugMug. You must first drag the items to your desktop and then drag them from your desktop into SmugMug.
