Both shots taken at 3.4:1 with minimum cropping- both focus stacked from 2 shots. An aphid and a springtail approx 1.7-2mm long. (the fov was 6.5mm wide in the viewfinder)

Skippy- no they are not in the Aphid family- most of the springtails are tiny flatter longer things (for example those tiny white things you often see (just about) when you move a plant pot. Apparently there are about 800 species in the uk alone- think I've spotted 4 of them so far.
