Fly - but still very cold in the north west...

The weather is still surprisingly cold in the north west and the winds are stronger than expected - leading to a paucity of insects around my area. Did find a fly on a leaf on the spiraea shrub - but there's is so little to go at it's becoming depressing!!!

    Paul,

Nice images, in spite of everything.

Down is central, southern England, we are still getting chilly days, occasionally with a bit of warm sun in the afternoon and evening. It has been quite breezy too and is about to become very much so, before a hot weekend. Insects are around when the local weather moderates but there in not much variety. Life under the logs and bark goes on.
