Could it be... the NW is warming up? - Some garden bugs

My goodnes, we had a bit of sun. The garden is starting to burst into colour and FINALLY, 6 months into the darn year, some sign of life :)

FINALLY I get some decent shots of a Ruby tailed wasp. It even landed on me for a brief moment. On my chest though so a shot was impossible.

    I like them all! I really enjoy the light and color in macros ....some times the background or DF force us to post dark or monotone BG...well done ! #3 #4 #7 are my favs

    Yes, things are happening down south too. We had an invasion of hundreds of freshly-emerged blue damselflies yesterday.
