'Legacy' Slideshow Thumbnails in 'New' Smugmug Slideshow

I just converted to a 'new' Smugmug Slideshow layout and I would like to have thumbnails fade-in on roll-over – and then fade out.

I've searched and searched (Google, dgrin, etc.) and can't find anything on how to create the 'legacy' Smugmug 'thumbnail strip' for the 'new' Smugmug Slideshow. Can anyone point me to a 'customization' or 'how to' link? If it's not possible, anyone have any creative ideas/suggestions on how to achieve a similar effect?

I'm not aware of any customization to the slideshow that would provide what you are asking for.

There is a customization to a smugmug-style gallery that places the thumbs below the large photo - but that's not a slideshow. If you want to try that, see http://www.aaronmphotography.com/Customizations/Gallery/FIlmstrip-Gallery-Style.

Hi - I came up with this by simply adding a slideshow to the top of a collage style gallery. I have received a lot of feedback from people that like this design
