Bird attempt

On my vacation to Florida I thought I would give birds a try.

Some were taken on a wildlife tour at the Ding Darling Refuge on Sanibel Island, and some were on a golf course in Naples.

All shots taken with a 200mm lens (only number 4 has been cropped).

Thoughts, comments, critiques welcome and appreciated.

    Nice captures Jim.

    As far as comments
All the images are nice and sharp.

I'd prefer to see the entire bird in the first 2.

The 3rd one is a very nice image of the Heron in his environment. Looks a tad flat though, I'd consider a curves and or levels adjustment.

4 Nice BIF - perhaps a tad flat again.

5&6 - Nice action shot. I think if it was front lit it might look better.

    Thanks for sharing,

Thank you for the comments, much appreciated.

Number 1 was a grab out of the tour bus window as it started to move, so I got lucky. I liked the angle, as I thought it implied action.

On number 2, I wish I didn't cut off the bird either, but using a prime lens, I didn't have a choice. The people on this forum make shooting birds look easy... it is not!

    Thanks again!
