Birch Shield-Bug Elasmostethus interstinctus

Earlier in the week, I was in my garden with my camera when a beautifully-marked shield-bug landed halfway up my bare arm. The extension and lens combination, together with the long working distance of the lens prevented me focusing on the bug. Several attempts to get it to climb on a shrub leaf failed and the bug fell into long grass, not to be seen again.
Yesterday, I found what looked like the same bug, this time on leaves close to the ground, such that I could get good support for hand-held shots. Using the same setup as I was on its previous visit, I got some good shots. The bug was of about the size limit for the 17mm FOV.
This is the first time I have seen this species and possibly the first images of it here.
In the second image it is taking a drink of water.
EM-1, extension for 1:1 at the sensor, 2:1 with crop factor, Printing Nikkor 105mm at f11, twin TTL RC diffused flash.

Thanks, SB.
You can see why I was frustrated at not getting a shot at our first meeting.
The second image is the best of three of that pose. The others are one-offs.
