Nikon 58mm - a dreamy new lens
Recently picked up a Nikon 58mm, f1.4 after reading some great reviews. This lens has some incredible bokeh. I would rate it even better than the 85mm, f1.4 though I'm still getting used to shooting this focal length.
I'm embarrassed to admit this is now my 4th prime lens in the 50s (f1.2, f1.4, f1.8 and now this one). I'm not sure why I have such struggles with 50mm for portraits.
Here's a few samples:

An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.
