Spent a little while watching these (mason?) bees going into what will be a nest in a small hole in the brickwork yesterday, there were 3 of them (normally solitary but they can share a nest site occasionally):

That explains the blue sheen on the abdomen.

Sadly though - most of my daylight ours are in the shop, lol..
