Wasps enjoy fresh food and I think this one took a liking to the end of a small ranch of the apple tree I cut off because it overhanging our garden fence (the kids always try to steal my apples in autumn!)

    Paul,

Cutting branches in the growing season causes them to "bleed", sap oozing out unless you use a sealant across the cut.

    Anyway, some good pictures.

Superb set mate. Hmm, interesting trick to entice some wasps :).

    I'd agree #2 is brilliant :D
