Darkling beetles

Have had a minor outbreak of darkling beetles in the garden over the past week.

Looks like they do not damage plants- adults feed on nectar and pollen. Larvae feed on decaying plants/humus see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lagria_hirta
