This bug nymph, creamy-coloured to the naked eye, was on the stem of a Goldenrod plant. It kept the stem between itself and my lens for as long as it could but eventually tired.

EM-1, extension, x 1.5 TC, Schneider HM 40mm reversed at f16, FOV 6mm, twin flash, hand-held.

    Thanks, Brian,

    That's an understatement! At one stage, I was standing, gripping the stem with my knees, while my left hand doubled for twisting the top of the stem and supporting the lens.
