Just caught the last stages of the emergence of a harlequin ladybird. They are completely spotless at this stage. I had taken some shots of the pupa the previous day.

A lovely find! Great images.
There are harlequin pupae all over the place. They are even on the grass in our garden and the local allotments have huge populations.
