I was trying to find a jumping spider which had disappeared from the outside of a double glazed conservatory window, under the open lower edge. I had my camera ready. What I found was not the spider but this fly.
It was up against a grubby sheet of glass, making some tighter cropping essential to exclude one prominent, dirty mark. I had limited shooting angles, there being a bench under the window. The lighting on the first couple of shots turned out rather better (first image) than the others but all were acceptable and there were even a couple of stereo possibilities.
EM-1, extension, 105mm Printing Nikkor at f11,FOV 17mm, twin RC TTL flash, hand-held.
The stereo is cross-eye.
