This is a parasitoid of stem-boring bees. This one was resting in the shade under a balm leaf. The female has a very long ovipositor with a white tip, which does not show well here but see:

Yesterday I was stalking what I thought was one of these landing on Cinnabar-infested ragwort. However, it had two brown or orange segments halfway along the abdomen. Wind and battery issues meant I got no image but I will look again today.
