Weird drop menu action

Menu drop is not closing. I hover Birds > Birding Field Trips
Slide down to any year then slide across to Birds drop and Birding Field Trips drop does not close.
If I slide to the top, Birding Field Trips, then back down it closes.
Chrome, IE and Firefox all show this.

Just noticed so don't know how long this has been like this.
Current mouse position orange highlight.

FYI I see the same behavior, Allen, on your menu. I'm using Chrome, although it wants me to update it...

Well! Updating Chrome fixed it for me.

Allen what seems to work to resolve the issue is to mouse over "Birding Field Trips" again and it will collapse. Let us know if that works for you and if not write back and we will dig deeper.

I already mentioned that in my first post. Seems to me something is wrong in the basic code not
collapsing the 2nd drop. The 3rd drop collapses moving back to the 2nd but continuing to the 1st the
    2nd drop does not collapse.

Allen I had the rest of the Hero team take a look at the issue and here is what we are seeing. This appears to be intended lag to avoid menus from collapsing too fast due to unintended mouse movement. We sometimes see this on other sites with multiple menu levels and due to the fact that your site has so many menu levels the menus acting that way are intended to keep from menus closing to quickly.
