A rather delicate looking snipe fly. Not seen this one before. All shots focus stacked using zerene.

Brian,

The way the outline of the white background is the same shape as the fly profile, in the second image, work very well.

How many frames in a stack, 3 or 4?

Thanks Harold. Yes it varied between 3 or 4 shots. Luckily the fly held very still and I was able to manipulate the stem of the flower for different angles.
