The way the outline of the white background is the same shape as the fly profile, in the second image, work very well.
How many frames in a stack, 3 or 4?

Thanks Harold. Yes it varied between 3 or 4 shots. Luckily the fly held very still and I was able to manipulate the stem of the flower for different angles.
