PDF hosting

I know SM doesn't host downloadable PDF's. I was/am using my Comcast account to do it. But Comcast is dropping it's hosting service. Anyone have suggestions for free options?

I have drop box, but did not know I could link to a pdf and have a link on the site download the pdf. Any idea how I would do that?

According to the dropbox help page at https://www.dropbox.com/help/6:

Anything you save to your computer can be saved to your Dropbox

You would need to save the PDF in your dropbox account.

The help page titled "How do I link to a file or folder?" discusses how to link to a file on dropbox and share it with someone else - https://www.dropbox.com/help/167.

I haven't used dropbox in quite a while but I was able to share files with people when I used it in the past.

Dropbox should also come with a public folder. Anything you put in there, you can hot link without Dropbox's usual preview / download button coming up when sharing files. Once a file is in the public folder, right click > copy public link. Note that the public links only include a dropbox user id, the folder structure and filename of the file. That means, others could get to other files in your public folder by guessing the path / filename.
