Most of these kinda don't fit into the technically successful category but nonetheless, can't have it all :)

Tiny little fly, already heavily cropped.

A wasp in a predicament... however it did manage to free itself and fly away

Heavily rescued HiF image. This one was extremely under-exposed. Have lifted exposure and shadows hugely just to try and get something from it.

2015-7993.jpg

Honey bee on the privet flowers. Again, not technically sound but can't have it all.

    Ian,

    That fly looks really good.

I worked with honeybees a lot and these with the grey hairs are new to me.

    Thanks Harold.

I think perhaps the colour of the Honeys are a touch de-saturated. I should bring some warmth and saturation back into them for next time. I'd introduced a touch of blue into these images as they were a little warm.
