First attempts for milky way! Much more difficult this, then one would think! Not to mention DANGEROUS! Almost took tumble twice into Davey Jones locker!
Used some light painting.

Thank you kindly Boco! Your opinion is greatly cherished!
Thanks David! Appreciate your feedback more than I can say! I am truly impressed you recognize the spot as I didn't say anything!bow You have a contact in Bay Area if you are here! Cheers!
Thanks Chris! I think that may be my favorite too! Once there I realized some assistance from ambient light and started to think ways to steal it. Had to be careful though because if Car was too close, it blows the photo up completely and so timed there movement on the road in a way it will only be in shot for 3-5 seconds. Took the shot without cars just to be sure and that turns out to be better one! Who knew!:D
Thanks my friend! Learned few tricks! Hope to share them in future when you got MW hunting! Need to find either great silhouetted scene or invest in light-painting equipment and then with trial and error you get there! Looking forward to your bridge shots! Cheers!ivar
The Pfeiffer Beach shots are pretty cool too!

Next chance we get at this would be in August, from 12-16th. Hopefully, one of those evenings would be cloud-free and fog free! Cheers!
Cheers, Richard.

It is 19 minute long exposure taken deep into blue hour! I went their for milky way so it was clear and cloudless.....couldn't find anything else exciting so went with long exposure hoping to find contrast! Greatly appreciate your comment!
