A not-so-brown Brown Lacewing

This was actively moving around on a rhubarb leaf for a short while before flying away. This is the only good image. This as probably with the Printing Nikkor 105 at f11. Camera in manual mode, 1/250, TTL flash.

    For anyone hoping to find one, they are smaller than the green ones and not so visually outstanding.

    This may be Psectra diptera, based on the pattern of thickened veins.

    I think this is the same species are recently posted by Paul Iddon.
