½ a bee and a brown lacewing

Saw this bee on the wrong side of the bird table resting, but it was gone in an instant! Then spotted a brown lacewing in the depths of the flowers on the spiraea shrub...

I have cultured Green Lacewings, feeding the adults pollen and honey but I don't recall seeing one feed in the wild, which they may do at night. So well done.

Thanks Brian - oddly enough, the only other leaf cutter bee I have ever managed a photo of, was also on the bird table a few years back!
