New smug privacy has no password ?

In legacy, galleries can be made private by issuing password to our clients. But everyone still can see the thumbnail of the galleries, just that they can't have access without PW.
In the new smug, it has this "Unlisted (anyone with the link)". Does it means it has do away with PW? And the galleries are well hidden, not shown at all.
However, isn't it the link still can be passed ard to unsuspecting people. With PW, at least we can change it as and when needed without the neccessity of uploading to another new gallery to create a new link. That will be a chore.
Am I right on this?

Galleries are public, unlisted, or private. This is specified in the Visibility section.
You would then set the password in the Access section.
These sections are in the Security and Privacy section of the gallery settings.
See help page at http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/1229910-new-smugmug-what-are-the-gallery-level-privacy-settings-.
Unlisted galleries are available in both legacy and new smugmug.
